My friend Sherry Fox, who’s a Social Studies teacher, sent me a link to this video. I like the way that it overlays the data, which when presented alone can be a little dry, over top of a video of the narrator Hans Rosling who is very passionate about the subject of statistics. I will never be passionate about the subject of statistics, and it alarms me to think about the environmental cost of all of the countries ending up on the top right axis of the chart, but the use of technology impressed me.
